It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mwalimu Moses Wilberforce Shumwe of Emanyulia village Kakamega County.

Son of the late Bartholomew Shumwe and the late Sarah Omwaka Amukobole. Husband of mwalimu Agnes Philornena Shumwe. Father of Beatrice & Kennedy Ongalo, the late Walter Shumwe, Katherine & Francis Musebe, John Maindo, Jane & Jairus Oloko, John & Jerusa Pesa, Caren Shumwe, James & Josephine Okello, Raphael Shumwe, David Shumwe, Naha’ & Gracelyn Masanganjira and Anneline & Steve Sunguti.

Brother of the late Agnes Ambetsa, the late Grace Atulo, the late George Chiteri and the late Mary Eshiwani. Uncle and grandfather to many.

Family and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Emanyulia.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital Maseno Thursday 21st June 2018 at 9am.

Prayers and burial will take place on Saturday 23rd June 2018 at his home in Emanyulia from 10am.
