Mwalimu Philomena Shikwa Lumula
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mwalimu Philomena Shikwa Lumula. Widow to the late Andrew Lumula of Bumila Village, Eregi which occurred on 22 May, 2022 following a short illness.
Daughter of the late Kanuti Namanjia and the late Teresina lsutsa of Bukhulunya, Kakamega. Mother to the late Melvin Ilamwenya, the late Rodgers Litabalia, Bernard Mukoto (Majengo), Newton Lumula (NPS-Funyula), Janet Lumula (Kakamega County), Bonventure Lumula (KCB). Mother-in-Law to Belinda Wamalwa, Pamela Mamesa, Millicah Openda and Maryanne Matete.
Sister to the late Rita Alaka, the late Emma Makuri, Sapentia Atema, the late Anjeline Khatonde, Rose Muteshi, the late George and Henry Namanjia.
Sister-in-Law to Phoebe Khalechi,Tabitha Ilavonga, the late Ezekiel & Maureen Luvutse, the late Deborah, Samuel Kola, the late George Manuya, George Okila, the late Nicholas Musina, Zephyr Musonye, the late Fabian Khamusali, Pamela Bakasi and Linet Luvayo.
The cortege leaves Kakamega Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 3 June, 2022 for her Eregi home. She will be laid to rest on Saturday, 4 June, 2022.
May the good Lord rest her soul in eternal peace.
