Son of the late Peter Abere Mokua and late jemimah Boyani.
Husband of Linet Kwamboka Father of Collins Osiemo, Juliet Kerubo, Nancie Boyani and Ruth Moraa.
Brother of Esther Nyanchama, Grace Nyaboke, Elijah Abere, Agnes Mokeira, Hebisiba Mongina, Joyce Moraa, Joshua Ndemo, Noel Mokua, Nemiah Arumba, late Andrew Nyanchoka, Hellen Nyakerario and Micah Makori.
He has been blessed with a daughter in law, Diana Osiemo and a son in-law Daniel Omwoyo Onsinyo. Grandfather of Allan Abere and Samson Mokaya.
He is brother in law of Obiero Bosire, Dr Kepha Ombacho, late Bosco, late Okari, Justus Nyabuto, late Queen Bosibori,Anna Nyanaro, Thomas Ongaga, George Morara, Paul Gisemba, Agwacha Ongaga, Henry Momanyi, Milka, Ziporah, Annah, Loice, Janet and Alice.

The cortege leaves Nyamira Hospital on 9tth October, 2025 for an overnight stay at his residence. Burial will be held at his residence in Masosa, Nyamira Town on 10th October, 2025.
