It is with profound sorrow that the Muhombe family announces the passing on of our beloved Patriarch Mwalimu Thomas Abuje Muhombe on 9th January, 2021 at Tanaka Hospital, Busia County.

Husband of the late Margaret Alividza, Susan Kweyu and Victoria Atieno.

Son of the late Andrea Abuje and the late Sarah Akumu.

Brother of the late Irene, the late Leah, the late Aaron, the late Daudi, the late Phanice, the late Wycliffe and the late Walter.

Step-brother of the late Gilbert, Patrick, Dancas (DC), Christopher, Josephat, the late Jackson and Christine.

Father of Helen, Violet, the late Ketra, the late James, Susan (USA), William (Uganda) and Sallyann, the late Aggrey, Christopher, Joseph, Charlie, Sarah, Kenneth, the late Ruth, Salote, Sajja, Rodney, Dickson and Emmanuel.

Grandfather of 56. Great-grandfather of 33.

Son-in-law of the late Richard and the late Irene Kibisu of Elburgon, the late Joseph and the late Flora Okwiri of Bunyore and the late Emmanuel Khayongo and Melissa Okumu of Port Victoria.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Mudoba Village, Samia Sub-county for funeral arrangements.
