Appreciation and Memorial Celebration

The family of the late Mwalimu Vincent Kizito Wekesa Namusonge heartily thank God for the blessing of his life. We also thank God for manifesting His consolation and support through each one of our associates, groups, individuals, friends, relatives, and people of goodwill.You made our loss bearable by standing, praying, condoling and joining us in the beautiful celebration of our PAPA’s life. We may not exhaustively mention all but we dearly cherish you all.

With humility our appreciation is not limited to the following: The Church: The Rt Rev. Mark Kadima, Bishop-Catholic Diocese of Bungoma and the clergy, Parish Priest Rev. Fr Robert Modoi and all the parishioners of St Elizabeth Catholic Church, Sang’alo Parish, St Martin’s Mwibale choir; Rev. Frs. Jeremiah and Amos of Christ the King Cathedral; Christ the King Cathedral choir, Christ the King Cathedral Charismatic Renewal members; Rt Rev. John Oballa Owaa, Bishop-Catholic Diocese of Ngong and the Clergy: SMA Fathers Kenyan District: St Monica-Kitengela and Sts John and Sylvia, Acacia; CMA from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Ongata Rongai; the Catholic Charismatic Renewal members; Medical team: Dr. Musawa of Zion Medical Center-Bungoma; Dr. Ayub Barasa of Eldoret Hospital; Dr. Akwanalo of Transcare Clinic and Diagnostic Center; Doctors at Hopkins Group of Hospitals Bungoma where Papa transited and the Life Care Mortuary Staff; Relatives, Friends & Associates: The Barende, the Abakhobole clan, Nabichakha FYM Primary school, Hon. John Makali, MP Kanduyi constituency; Frank Songa, family, friends, colleagues and associates of: Mama Adah Namwaya, Dunstan, Godfrey, Henrietta, Audrey, Millicent, Dr Lucy, Fr Felix, Cordelia, Martha, Tecla, Christopher and Eugene. We are also grateful to the funeral steering committee and Mwanzo development that worked diligently to ensure that our father got an amazing farewell. We pray that all may go well with you our beloved. May you be in good health of body, mind and soul; and may mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance. (Jude 1:2)

We now graciously extend our invitation to all for the Memorial Eucharistic Celebration to be held on Saturday 6th May 2023 at the home of the late Mzee Vincent Kizito Wekesa Namusonge, Dorofu village, Bungoma. The Holy Mass will start at 10.00 am. Karibuni sana.
