It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu William Ngugi Mwangi, which occurred on 22nd July, 2023.

Son to the late Benson Mwangi and the late Eunice Gathoni. Beloved husband to Mary Wambui. Loving father to Eunice Gathoni (Kiambu County), Hannah Nyambura (Nyondia Secondary School) and Major (Rtd) Anthony Ngugi (KCAA).

Brother to the late Zephaniah Ngugi, the late Joseph Ndung’u, the late Teresia Nyambura, Lucy Njeri, Margaret Njeri, the late Peter Macharia and Mary Wanjiru.

Son-in-law to the late Ben Njiiri and Hannah Nyambura.

Father-in-law to the late Boniface Mwaura, Moses Njuguna (David Gichuki Advocates) and Margaret Njoki (Mount Kenya University).

Grandfather to Jessicah Wanjiru, David Karira, Anthony Ngugi, Maryanne Wambui,Angelah Wambui, Brian Ngugi and Alvin Kimani.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations at his home in Gitiha village.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral home Githunguri on Friday, 28th July, 2023 at 9:00am for a funeral service at ACK Gathangari from 11:00am and thereafter burial at his home in Gitiha Village, Githiga service Githunguri, Kiambu County.
