It is with profound sorrow that we announce our Brother-In-Christ Mzee Adonijah Oginga Otieno was called to rest on 7th December 2022 whilst receiving treatment on illness at St. Monica hospital Kisumu.

Son of the late Hon. Hesbon Otieno Oyoo and the late Sister-In-Christ Mama Hilda Otiende of Kano Kobura, Kochien’g East location, Rabuor village.

Loving husband to the late Mama Elizabeth Hongo Oginga and Rose Awino Oginga. Father to Pamella Akinyi, Daniel Oginga KRA, Edward Oketch, David Onyango and Benard Ochieng.

Brother to the late Ruth Slessor Ochuonyo, the late Maurice Odhiambo,Tom Kenyatta, advocate Patrick Lumumba, the late Taabu Washington and the late Jababu Hezbon Otieno.

Cousin to Mary Omodho and the Omollo’s, Ojwach’s, Odera’s, Oketch’s, Opinya’s, Onyango’s Midamba’s and many others. Brother-in-law to Joash Ochuonyo, Paul Hongo, Mary Slessor, Roseline, Margaret and Agnes.

Son-in-law to the late Paul Hongo and the late mama Maria Midoro of Usare village, the late Ibrahim Aroko and the late Angeline Achieng of Gem Yala.

Father-in-law to Samuel, the late Patrick Fadamulla, the late George Oluma and Charles Gitonga.

Uncle to Hilda,Rodgers, Teddy, Edmond, Yvette and many others.

Grand father to Beldine, Christine, Marshal, Ethan, Leon, Tyronne, Rose and Emmaculate.

The cortege leaves St. Monica funeral home Riat hills, Kisumu on Thursday, 15th December 2022 at noon for a church service at A.C.K St. Paul’s church Muhoroni starting at 2.00pm, thereafter the body proceeds to his home for a night vigil. The burial service takes place on 16th December 2022 at Mutwala village, Owaga Sub Location Muhoroni.
