With heavy hearts and profound sadness,we announce the passing of a beloved soul. Mzee Albert Omollo Wesonga. He embarked on his journey beyond this world, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever resonate in our hearts.

Mzee Albert was the devoted husband of the late Agnes Mwelu Wesonga (née Makau), a love story that transcended time and space. As a father, his nurturing spirit touched the lives of many. He was a guiding light to his children: Frank Wesonga in Boston, USA.,Veronica Wesonga, Rose Wesonga, Patricia Wesonga, and Lorraine Wesonga in Kenya. His influence extended to more hearts through his role as Father-in-Love to Miriam Kinuthia, Moses Issaji, Dennis Kalama Fondo, and Solomon Njau. His gentle presence graced the lives of his grandchildren: Jeff and Abby Wesonga, Albert Masha and Yves Katana Fondo. Agnes Ciru and Sean Njau and Ashley Nana.

He carried with him the lineage of the late Phaustine Akello and the late Benjamin Wesonga, grounding his essence in the roots of his family tree. Alongside his siblings, he shared a journey intertwined with the late Francis, the late Vincent, Joseph, Julius, George. Elizabeth, Calistus, Joshua and Emmanuel—a tapestry of connections and shared memories.

On the of September 2023, the cortege will depart from Lee Funeral Home. marking the beginning of his final journey home to Bungoma Town. On the 2nd of September 2023, in the tranquil embrace of Nasyanda village, Khasoko ward, Bumula sub-county, Bungoma County, his body will find its resting place.

Mzee Albert was our family’s beacon of hope, a source of strength, wisdom, and unwavering love. His legacy will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us of the importance of faith and family.
