It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Antipa Otieno Mndere which occurred on Thursday August 15th, 2019 at Bama Hospital, Siaya.
Son of the late Habil Mndere Oganga and Dorsilla Achieng Nyangae of Kadenge Udura Village, Alego Central, Siaya County. Husband of Mama Grace Herine Abonyo Otieno and the late Teresa Adhiambo. Brother of Christine Agola Odongo of Alego Nyajuok and the late Margaret Atieno Otega of Alego Bar Olengo. Cousin and uncle of the Awaho’s and the Odawo’s. Father of the late Rebecca Achieng, Priscah Arum, Judith Yewa, Elizabeth Oloo, Susan Otieno, the late Elizabeth Anyango and the late Seline Akinyi. Father-in-law of S.O. Arum, Rev. G.O. Yewa, Johnson O. Otula. Nyawana of the late James and Isdora Arum of Kamgere, Rusinga, the late Eliazaro and Persila Yewa of Asembo Kabondo and the late Barnaba and Risper Otula of Masogo, Kano Kobura.
Grandfather of Boniface Omondi, Joseph Oduor, Linet Akinyi, Paul Otieno, Antipa Otieno, Grace Anyango, Edwin Okoth, Susan Arum, John Arum, James and Janet Arum, Samuel Arum, Eliazar and Ruth Yewa, Nick and Lucy Mndere, Grace Una Yewa, Moses Yewa, Risper Oloo, Cynthia Otieno and Seraphine Otieno. Uncle of the late Hezbon Jura Odongo, the late Calleb Ogwari Odongo, Clarice Akinyi Odongo, Saulo Sewe Odongo, Rev. Mary Osena, Dorsilla Kassums, Martin Omolo Otega and Caroline Odhiambo.
The cortege will leave Bama Hospital Mortuary, Siaya on Friday August 30th, 2019 for church service at Bar Olengo Anglican Church.
Burial will be on Saturday August 31st, 2019 at his home in Kadenge Udura Village, Alego Central lead by the Vicar, Bar Olengo Anglican Church.
