Mzee Asaph Wanjau Gatamuki (Wa Kang’a)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mzee Asaph Wanjau Gatamuki ( Wa Kang’a ) which occurred on 9th January 2020.

Son of the late Kang’a Gikinya and the late Rebecca Mbui Kang’a. Husband of Agnes Ngima Wanjau. Father of Wilson Maina Wanjau and Ruth Njeri Wanjau. Grandfather of George Wanjau Maina, Catherine Wanjiku Maina, Christine Wanjiru Maina and Edwin Njogu Maina among many others. Great grandfather of many. Brother of Eshiban Wahome Kang’a, Milkah Wangari Kairang’a,Tabitha Muthoni Gichuhi, Fridah Wangechi Gachingiri, Muchiri Kang’a, Jonathan Thogo Kang’a (all deceased) and Miriam Gaitheri Mwaniki.

Family and friends will meet at Abbey Hotel, Nairobi on Wednesday January 15th, 2020 ONLY at 6:00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kiria-ini Funeral Home on Saturday 18th January, 2020 at 9:00 am for the funeral service at A.C.K. Emmanuel Church, Wahundura. Burial will follow thereafter at his Kiburu Farm.
