It is with great sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of beloved Mzee to Benedict Nicholas Mudinyu Khasenye on November 16th, 2022 at the age of 90 years.

Husband to late Kunegonda Atete, Rosa and Sara Imbande. He is survived by his wife Mebel Saisi. Father to Margaret Ochanda, John Mulaa, Rosemary Tamusange, Elisabeth Otindo, Matthew Obonyo, Anna Khasenye, George Mulaa, Susan Kasala, Josephine Khasenye, the late Ann Ayugi Khasenye, Clare Khasenye, Valentine Ochanda, Collins Bhutto the late Mercy Khasenye, Praxedes Khasenye, Paul Khasenye, Judith Mulaa, Virginia Khasenye, Veronica Khasenye, Moses Ochanda, Andrew Ondigo, Florence Khasenye, and Dianah Khasenye.

Father-in-law to Nills Andersen, Mary Mulusa, Benson Tamusange, Timothy Otindo, the late Rev. Harrison Oulo, Charles Epari, Joseph Amollo among others. He was grandfather and great grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Butula Mortuary on Friday, December 2nd, 2022 for a mass at the Butula Catholic Parish at 11.00am. The patriarch will be interred at his home December 3rd, 2022, in Bwaliro, Village Marachi, Butula, Busia Country.
