Mzee Charles Wamalwa Wambafaba

It is with gratitude to God that we announce the home-going of Mzee Charles Wambalaba Khaoya, at the age of 105.

Mzee Wambalaba was the son of the late Japheth Khaoya and the late Rosa Muyoka. Loving husband to the late Rispah Nabutilu, Rosemary Nelima, the late Jones Nasambu, Catherine Nasimiyu and Marciana Nasambu. Cherished father to Dinah Wattimah, the late Edward Wambalaba, Moses Wambalaba, Ruth Khisa, the late Damary Wakhungu, Everlyn Wasike, John Wambalaba, Joseph Wambalaba, Francis Wambalaba, Mary-Linette Masiga, Kennedy Wambalaba, Violet Nasimiyu, Japheth Wambalaba, Leonard Wambalaba, Aggrey Wambalaba, Geoffery Wambalaba, Joan Muyoka, the late Jane Mayuba, Grace Naswa, Zablon Wambalaba, the late Khaoya Wambalaba, Toselyn Muyoka, Carol Namaemba, Rosa Siuma, the late Nelly Nabutilu, Doreen Khwaka, Caleb Khaoya,Winny Mayuba,Yvonne Nambakha and Johnstone Wambalaba.

Wonderful father in-law to Hudson Wattimah, Imelda Wambalaba, Melisa Wambalaba, John Khisa, Jotham Wakhungu, Philip Wasike, Rosebella Wambalaba, Catherine Warnbalaba,Akosa Wambalaba, Maurice Masiga, Edward Wangamati, John Mbakaya, among others.

Beloved brother to the late Wanyama Khaoya, the late Julius Khaoya, jaston Khaoya, Joseph Wambalaba, Benson Mafuta, Johnstone Buyela, the late Joyner Nabangala, the late Jones Nang’unda, the late Mary Nanjala, the late Mary Nabifu, Siuma, among many.

Treasured grandfather to Kennedy, the late Petora, Stella, Doreen, Jackie, Carol, Christine, Alice, Daima, Muyoka, Khaoya, Catherine, Caren, Charlene, Joray, Tilu, Tundi, Joy, Collins, Harry, Sylvia, Dennis, Dominic, Israel, Jesse, Eliza, Chemiati, Otioli, Wamalwa, Dieudonne, Celeste, Louange, Brenda, Collins, Brian, Isabella, Bradley,Alison, Latifa, Triza, Nelyrosa, Levi, Tyra, Naomi, Daisy, Gilbert Nelima,Teddy, among many. He was a great-grandfather to many.

A celebration service will be held at his home in Kuywa, Bungoma County, ahead of interment, on Saturday 27th August, 2022.
