Mzee David Macharia Maina

It is with great humility that we accept God’s will of the passing away of Mzee David Macharia Maina of Kaganda Sub-location, Tambaya Village, which occurred on the 11/07/2022 while undergoing treatment at Neema Hospital – Nairobi.

Son to the late Maina Kirigi and Wanjiru Maina. Brother to the late James Kanyiri Maina and Ngendo Maina. Husband to Hannah Wangui Macharia. Father to Dr. MD Maina, Esther Wambui, Mercy Munjiru, Rose Ngendo, the late Stephen Irungu, Benson Kanyiri, Mary Wanjiku, Ephantus Mwangi, Jacinta Waitherero and Keziah Waithera.

Father-in-law to Mr. Karanja Ruoro, Mrs. Catherine Maina, Mr. John Kahwai, Annah Kaluki, John Kagai, David Mburu, Esther Wanjiku and Wairegi Nganga.

Grandfather to Macharia, Muchiri,Wangui, Michael, Dan, Nancy, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 6:00pm at Blue Springs Hotel and his home in Tambaya for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Funeral and burial ceremony will take place on Tuesday 19/07/2022 at Kaganda Tambaya Village, Kiharu Murang’a County.

We give God all the Glory for the wonderful days He gave us to be with David Macharia.
