With profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will, we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Edward Mbogo Kirima in Nairobi on 19th March, 2022.

Son of the late Kirima M’mugwika and Nelly Wanja. Son-in-law to the late Wilfred and Florence M’mugambi.

Loving husband of the late Zipporah Kithira. Cherished father of the late Humphrey Kirimi, Patrick & Peninah Muthuri (Meru), Winlight & Anne Muriungi (UoN), Adv. Ashford Koome, Peter Kiogora (Embu), Eric Murithi, Eric Mwirigi (Meru) and Rhoda Nkatha (NNIML).

Doting grandfather of Jimmy, Mukami, imathi, Wasike, Barbara, Robin, Kendi, inya, Denno, Mukaria and Ntinyari. Great-andfather to Jayden Gitau. other to M’Arimi (Gichang’i), Josephine uthui, Simon Muthamia, the late George urugu, Alexander Gatimbu, Stephen Gikunda, Emily Karambu, Erastus Mugwika, the e Nkonge and Mutuma, Gacheri, Kagendo and Gitonga Kirima.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at his Kiegene home and virtually from Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday, 29th March, 2022 at 6.00am, for funeral service and interment at his Kiegene home the same day starting at 10.30am.
