It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Francis Githinji Hiuhu (FGH) of Naromoru – Kwa J.

Son of the late Hiuhu Matimu and Wamaitha Hiuhu.

Husband to Serah Gathoni. Brother to Nyawira Kariungi, Gathoni Nyuthe, Joseph Muriuki (all deceased) and Wambui Gichuru.

Father to Carol and His Excellency Mutahi Kahiga (EGH) Governor Nyeri, Agnes and Manasseh Mbuthi, Michael Hiuhu, Juliet and Tom Mboya Odero (MBS, RPC Rift Valley), George Mwangi and Catherine Hiuko.

Grandfather to Catherine, Robert, Grace, Gideon, Ian, Stacy, Maureen, Francis, Gloria, Shirley, Nikita, Imani, Ryan, Kayla, Maya, Rio and Carol. Great-grandfather to Keith and David.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at his home – Kwa J. from 3.00pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) at 8.00am, on Friday 3rd March, 2023 for funeral service and burial at his home.
