Mzee Gerald Paul Omanyo (Pesi)

We sadly announce the death of our beloved Mzee Gerald Paul Omanyo (Pesi) of Alego Komenya -Siaya county.

Husband to the late Mama Hilda Omanyo and Janet Omanyo. He was the 8th born son of the late Petro and Cecilia Ong’are of Oboch Village, Komenya Kowala.  Father to Collins, Allan (Formerly of Telkom), Lilian Ochanda (IOM), Judy Otieno (Safaricom), George (USA), Frank, Steven, Churchill and Joyce. Father-in-law of Tim Ochanda (KCB), Joseph Otieno (Businessman) and Veronica Opasi (Lebanon). Brother of the late Augustine, the late Amedeo, Philomena, the late Pascalia (Orega),Adika, the late Marcella and the late Awuor. Grandfather of Owen, Nigel, Sharon, Shanelle, Vincent, Nadine, Pam, Joe, Lee and Nina.

The cortege leaves Bama Hospital in Siaya on Thursday 15th April at 3PM. Burial will take place on Friday 16th April at 10am at his home in Alego Komenya.
