It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mzee Gilbert Nyangweso on 13 November, 2023 at Avenue Hospital Kisumu.

Husband to Delilah Kemuma. Father to the late Alfred Kebwaro, Alice Kombo (Seattle USA), David Osiemo, Joyce Onguti, the late Jane Nyambane, Beatrice Oronyi, Gladys Nyangweso, George Nyangweso (Registrar Ministry of Lands Mombasa), Vernice Kabati and Daphne Angwenyi (Co-op Bank).

Brother to the late Barongo, the late Moraa, the late Nyarangi, the late Nyangate, the late Mangera, the late Monyangi, Dorca, Moturi and Mosari. Step-brother to Musa Matunda, Nyandeges, Kebwaros, Mairura’s and  Omoke’s.

Cousin to Ratemo, Ombaki’s Nyangongo’s, Teresa’s, Elijah Magori, Okeros and others.

Father-in-law to the late Grace, Milka, Moses Kombo, Alice, the late Onguti, Tom, the late Oronyi, Evans, Pauline, Jim and Ireneus.

Grandfather to Kerandi, Andrew, Belinda, Richard, Kevin, Lorraine Nyorita, Assa, Gloria, Maxwell, Sheila, Brian, Miruka, Faith, Wendy, Joshua, Leon, Ryan, lan, Valerie and others. Great Grandfather to many.

There will be a major fundraising on Tuesday 21st November 2023 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi starting from 5.00pm.

The funeral procession leaves Avenue Hospital Kisumu on 23rd November, 2023 at 2.00pm for his home, Suguta Village, Metembe Sub-Location, Ramasha Location Masaba South.

The funeral service and final rites will be held on Friday 24th November 2023 at the same location.

Funeral arrangements are taking place at his home in Ramasha.
