Mzee Gilbert Owino

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Gilbert Owino of Sidindi – Lula village, which occurred on Saturday 21/9/2019.

Son of the late Otieno Amoth and the late Atieno Watiti. Beloved husband of Jackobet Akumu, Christine Achola and Jane Auma. Brother of Martin Awiti. Father of James, Christopher, John, Daniel, Henry, Maurice, Amelea, Eunice, Caroline, Ann, Millicent and Jackline. Father-in-law of Getrude, Olga, Eunice, Purity, Margaret and Roseline. He left behind 50 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Tanaka Nursing Home on Friday 04/10/2019 at 10.00am for his home.

The burial will take place on Saturday 5th October 2019 in Lula village, Sidindi – Ugunja Subcounty, Siaya County.
