Mzee James Githinji Wainaina

We are humbled to announce the promotion to glory of Mzee James Githinji Wainaina which occurred on 26th June 2022. He hailed from Kiboi Village, Muranga County.

Son to the late Zawerio Wainaina and the late Grace Wanjiku. Loving husband to the late Safidah Githinji. Brother to the late Wanjiru Maturu, Wambui Mwangi, Waithira Ndirangu and Mwangi Wainaina.

Father to the late Evah Chomba, Prof Catherine Ndungo (KU), Mwangi, Njeri, Wanja and Elder Wambui. Father-in-law to Rev Chomba, Gikonyo, Njoki, irungu, Makumi and the late Mwangi. He was an uncle, grandfather and great grandfather to many.

Family relatives and friends are meeting daily at the family home at Kiboi village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be prayers at St James Church Buruburu on 3rd July 2022 at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Muriranjas Hospital Mortuary 5th July 2022 at 9.00am for burial service at All Saints Kiboi Church before proceeding to his home for internment.
