It is with heavy hearts and acceptance of Gods will that we announce the demise of our beloved Father and a Patriarch, Mzee Joel Katua Kiniva, that occurred on 9th July 2025.

Beloved son of the late Kiniva Muliku and the late Nduki Kiniva.

Loving husband of Priscilla Mukina Katua and a doting father of Tamina Linah, Zipporah Ngayu, Judy c Kavutha, Sammy Maithya, Patrick Mitau, John Ngomu, Felix Mwendwa, Gladys Kavinya, Joseph Mutunga, Faith Syombua, Thomas Mwongcla, Jeniffer Mwende and Jessicah Kathini.

Grandfather of Judy, Charles, Tonny, Cecilia, Prisca, Mukina, Blessing, Pricillah, Joel, Shantelle, Mukina,Tadeo, Leila among others. Great grandfather of Nduki, Nuri, Liam among others.Great Great grandfather of Shine and Jevin.

Brother of the late Ndonyi, late Kimanzi, late Muasya, late Nzome and Daniel Kalei. Uncle of many. Cousi of Wambua, Syombua, Mulwa among others.

Father-in-law of Agnes, Joyce, Catherine, Dorcus, Maria, Joyce, Kisiko,Titus, late Patrick, Joseph, Philip and Eric Lali.

Friends and family are meeting daily at Katua’s Residency in Nzewani Village, Nzambani ward, Kitui County.

The cortege leaves Tribute Funeral home in Kitui on Saturday 19th July 2025 at 7.00 a.m for service and burial at Kiini Primary School, Nzambani, Kitui.
