Mzee John Alfred Ekesa

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee John Alfred Ekesa of Nambale Township, which occurred on 6th January, 2018 after short illness at the Agakhan Hospital in Kisumu. Formerly he worked for the Kenya Meteorological Department.

Son of the late David Mang’oli and Helen Wesonga. Husband of Florence Florida Ekesa. Father of Patrick, Samson, Christine, Beatrice, Moses and Joshua. Father in-law of Linda, Uwe, David, Joy, Dollars and Agripina. Grandfather of Derek, Trinity, Ian, Sydney, Austine, Renee, Sasha, John Junior, Nicole, Scarlet, David and Preston. Brother of Thomas, George, Anjeline, Risper, Florence, Albert, Haggai, Johnstone, Hezron and Kefa.

There will be a major funds drive on Tuesday, 16th January, 2018 starting at 5.00pm at the Railways Club in Nairobi to offset medical and funeral expenses. Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Nambale and Greenspan Estate in Nairobi.
