Mzee John Khabeko Etemesi

On the 26th of April 2021, God in His Wisdom called home our Beloved Patriarch, John Khabeko Etemesi, former Provincial Commissioner (Central and Eastern Provinces), at his Sibanga home, Cherengany in Trans Nzoia County.

He was son to the late Reverend Canon Fanuel Etemesi and the late Mama Jane Omulindi Etemesi of Emuyundi Butere Sub-county, Kakamega County. He was husband to the late Monica Ambunya and Esther Anunda Etemesi. Son-in-law to the late Jotham Anyanga and Selina Anyanga. Beloved father to the late George Etemesi, Richard Etemesi, Mercy Etemesi, Charles Etemesi, Kenneth Etemesi, Joyce Kanyonyi and Ines Etemesi. Father-in-law to Lydia Etemesi, the late Helen Etemesi, Josephine Etemesi, Christine Etemesi and Fausto Kanyonyi.

Brother to the late William Shikanda, the late Dorcas Maende, Rachel Were, Ruth Otemba, Emily Genya, Habil Wando and Merab Songa. Brother-in-Law to the late Albert Maende, the late Aphaxad Genya, Jotham Kituyi, Isaiah Otemba, the late Dan Songa, Gilbert Anyanga, the late Elizabeth Tsuma, and the late Herima Ongeso Grandfather to John-Paul, Monica, Fanuel, Mathew, Michelle, Natalie, Candice, Lorraine, Sienna, Lynette, David, Tony and Andrew.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday 7th of May 2021 at St. Andrews Anglican Church. Sibanga, Trans Nzoia County at 9:00am, following which burial will take place at his home in Sibanga, Trans Nzoia County.
