Mzee John Opemi Indimuli Makokha (Pastor)

It is with heavy heart and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of John Opemi Indimuli Makokha that occurred on Saturday, 21st November, 2020, after a short illness.

Mzee John was born to the house of the late Mzee Barnabas Indimuli and the late Teresa Nekesa Wanundu in Lunganyiro Sub-location, Namamali Ward, Matungu Sub-county, Kakamega County. Beloved husband of Mary Adhiambo Makokha. Father of the late Anna Makokha, Barnabas Indimuli, Godfrey Opemi, Grace Makokha, Jacklyne Makokha, Patrick Makanda, Maxmilla Anyera and the late Betty Makokha. Brother of the late Nicholas Makanda, the late Marisa Indimuli, the late Trusella Indimuli, the late Anthony Opemi, the late Anna Indimuli and the late Sylvanus Malala. An uncle, cousin, grandfather and great-grandfather to many. Brother-in-law of Paul Onyango, Mathias Ogutu, Fred Ondare, Veronica Akuku, Scovia Nanzala and many others. Father-in-law of Audrey Shuma, Leah Nekesa, Darnaris Ngina, Douglas Omondi, Paul Okongo and Franco Waweru.

The cortege will leave Lifecare Funeral Home, on Saturday 5th December, 2020 at 8.30am Followed by requiem mass at Lung’anyiro Primary School, Namamali Ward, Matungu Sub-county, Koyonzo Location starting at 11.00am. Later his body will be laid to rest at his farm home.
