Mzee Joseph Kimondo Karuru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of A Patriarch Senior Assist Chief Mzee Joseph Kimondo Karuru of Nyeri County, Othaya Sub-county, Chinga Location, Mumbuini Sub-location, which occurred on 23/04/2021.

Son of the late Karuru and Gathoni. Brother of the late Alice Wakuru,Simon Mwangi, Sheshida, Zaveria, and Christopher. Loving husband of Grace Wanjiru and the late Eunice Wahiga. Doting father of the late Nancy Gathingu, Florence Mungai, George Maina Kimondo, Pastor Daniel Karuru Kimondo, the late David Kanyungu, Jane Muchoki, Margret Kamau, Esther Waithaka,Emily Kairu, Loise Gachangi and Elder Mary Ngunjiri. In-law of Rev. Gathingu, the late Willis Mungai, Elder Roseann Maina, Veronica Kanyungu, Dorcas Karuru, Muchoki, Kamau, Waithaka, Kairu, Gachangi and Ngunjiri Adoring grandfather and Great-grandfather to many.

Friends and Family are meeting at the family’s residence in Mumbuini, Chinga Othaya.

The cortege will leave Outspan Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 28th April, at 8.00am, Church service at PCEA Mumbu-Ini, at 10.00am. Internment to follow later same day at his home Mumbuini Kahutiri near Chinga Girls High School.
