Mzee Joseph Ojiambo Mataya-Waziri

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the final bow of Mataya the Patriarch on 21st April 2021.

He was the loving husband to the late Doris Omoche and Anastasia Awori. Father to Evans Manana Kwendo, the late Mathew Amos Ojiambo, Mary Nyongesa China, Henry Ojiambo, Bwire Ojiambo, Godfrey Ojiambo, Patrick Omondi, the late Benson Zephaniah Ojiambo, Rael Mutola, Maurice Ojiambo, Pascal Barasa Ojiambo, Emmanuel Muhadi Ojiambo, Francis Musuma Ojiambo and Sandra Maria Juma. Father in law to Mary China Manana, the late Berlin Anyanga, Rose Muganda, Roselida Akello, Winnigrace Mutanda, Norah Chao Ojiambo, Lilian Marko and a dotting grandfather and great grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Sega Funeral Home on 28th April for church service at Rumbiye Catholic Church at 3pm. Mzee will be laid to rest on Thursday 29th April 2021 at his Buburi-Neyayo home Busia County.
