Mrs Hellen Morintat and her children humbly accept God’s will to rest their family patriarch Mzee Joseph Tielal ole Morintat aka Menye Leshan who was promoted to higher glory on Saturday, 26th August 2023.

Son of the late 0Ing’akwe Oloolwuarrikon Morintat & the late Tapiose Morintat.

He was beloved husband of Hellen Morintat and the late Priscah Kitana and a loving father of the late Leshan, Shetishoi, Peter, Kakenya, Jane, Stanley, Moses, Esther, Christine, Samson, Kashumba, Douglas. Pamella, Annah, the late James, the late Kadogo, Stellah, Caroline, Jeremiah, Caleb, Isaiah, Nickson, Naanyu, Nentaya, Sosio and Oramat.

He was son-in-law of the late Leshan Kimokotio & the late Napurura Kimokotio and the late John Mairura & the late Rosa Mairura.

He was father-in-law of Selina, the late Diana, Sarah, Jackline, Justina, Agnes, Lilian, Leah, Sylvia, Mirriam, Rispah, Anne and Edna.

He was brother of Pusi Kirapi ole Morintat, the late Cheposio Barng’etuny, the late Esther Nanyenkerr Enole Muyia, the late David Musee Morintat and Cheptalam Ntirra.

He was brother-in-law of Ole Nasha Kimokotio, the late Noonkiyoi Enole Tunai, the late Simion, John, Mose, Simion and Samwel, late Ng’oto Sukukuu, Ng’oto Daniel, Ng’oto Taleng’o, Ng’oto Rusi, Ng’oto Sarah, the late Barng’etuny, the late Ole Muyia amongst others.

He was nephew of the late Meeme Kimong’o the late Ng’oto Chepkweter, the late Arap Yego Sinyai, the late Arap Cheruiyot, the late Ng’oto Ndege, the late Ole Sewere Morintat, the late Saporta Kaipoi. the late Sante Seroi Serpen, the late Oloolpusi Teet ole Serpen, the late Puss Marrau, the late Ole Ntumuge, the late Peter Keseri, the late Narika Ndeeru.

He was cousin of the late Maren Kimong’o – Moo, the late Ole Kimong’o Oltiyieki, the late Natnyeyie Kimong’o – Ole Nkume, the late Nteeta Kimong’o – Kimeleny and Tutayo Kimong’o – Ole Pest, the Sinyais, the Tukais, the Arap Kiprotic Kap’arawas. the Serpens and the Seitam.

Family, friends and neighbors are meeting daily at his Olmelil, Kapune home 4,00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves AIC Litein Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 31st August 2023 for overnight vigil at his home.

The funeral service and burial will be on Friday 1st September 2023 at his Olmelil farm, Kapune location, Transmara West, Narok County.
