Mzee Joshua Kiptoo Chesire

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Joshua Kiptoo Chesire (Teta ak Moita) of Kipsangui, Kimwogo and Tambul in Uasin Gishu and Elgeyo Marakwet Counties.

Son of the late Chesire Bartengus and the late Soti Chesire. Brother of Kabon Chepsoi, Kabon Segite, Kabon Chebii Komen Chesire and Kabon Kosgei.

Beloved husband of Eunice Kiptoo (Kongasis, Uasin Gishu), the late Elizabeth Kiptoo (Kimwogo, Keiyo) and Esther Kiptoo (Tambul, Keiyo). Doting father of Rael,the late Milka, Ezekiel, Esther-James, Jane, Salina, Joel, Milka, Mary, Hosea, Moses, Nixon, Miriam, Trine, Ben, Anne, Hentry, Lilian, Alice, Abraham, Nelly, Alex, Vincent, Lydia, Maxine, Joan, Caro, Phanice, the late Gilbert, Reuben and Leona.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 07/10/2022 at 1.00pm for an overnight vigil at his home Kimwogo village, Tumeiyo Location, Elgeyo Marakwet County. Funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 08/10/2022 at his Farm, Kimwogo Village,Tumeiyo Location, Keiyo South, Elgeyo Marakwet County, from 9.00am.
