Mzee Louis Kiambi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Kiambi family announce the passing on of Mzee Louis Kiambi on 2nd September 2023 after a short illness bravely borne.

He was the son of the late Joseph M’irianki and the late Rael Nchooro and a son-in-law to the late Stephen Nkanata and the late Sarah Karimi.

He was the beloved husband to Jennifer Kajuju, loving father to Gibson Muthomi, Asenath Muthoni, Ann Kawira, David Micheni, Lawrence Kimathi, Caroline Karimi and John Mwiti.

He was brother to the late Grace Nkuene, the late David Magaju and the late Leonard Muriungi. He was brother-in-law to Elizabeth Magaju and juster Muriungi.

He was father-in-law to Onorinah Muthomi, Mwiti Kiraitu, Karen Micheni, Freda Kimathi. Ndirangu Muhoro and Carol Mwiti.

He was grandfather to Hon. Said and Jasmeen Karani, Kenneth Mwirigi, Lucy Mukami, John and Christine Mutuma, Erick and Caroline Mutethia, Frankline Kiambi, Denis and Nyawira Kirema, Ida Nkirote, Munene Kiambi, Mugambi Kimathi, Gachie Kimathi, Joshua Ndirangu, Isaac Ndirangu. He was blessed with many great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be meeting for prayers and funeral arrangement on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday, 6th September 2023 at St. Andrew’s PCEA Church, Statehouse Road, Nairobi at 5.00pm and daily at the family residence at Meru, Kanyakine, Mbungine Village.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi on Friday, September 2023 for the funeral service at St. Paul Kanyakine Catholic Church starting 11:00am. Thereafter the burial will be held at the family home at Mbugine village.
