Mzee Nahashon Munyua

It is with humility and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Nahashon Munyua of Mbwinieru Village, Kithirune, Meru.

Son of the late Mr and Mrs Kaungania Kirauri. Husband of the late Mama Monica Nkirote Munyua. Father of Edward Gikunda, Stella Mugure, Bias Nkoroi, Rae Kiral, Susan Kairima, Grace Ntara, Jeremy Muthomi, and Faith Mwenda. Father-in-love of Dr. Joyce Gikunda, the late Bernard Mugute, Betty Nkoroi, the late Edward Kirai, Arch. Kairima Magambo, Stephen Ntara, Geoffrey Mwenda, and Josephine Muthomi. Grandpa of Ken and Agatha Gikunda; Koome and Emma Gikunda; Denis and Anne Gikunda; Alex and Stacey Gitonga; James and Carol Kiragu; Solo and Monica Mwangangi; Karimi and Mukami Nkoroi; Muriuki, Brian and Nixon Kirai; Brenda, Linda and Mwendwa Kairima; Kendi, Kanana and Kinya Ntara; Mutugi Muthomi; Nkatha and Makena Mwenda. Great-grandpa of Makena, Munene, Katanu Mwenda; Amani, yNana Koome; Lamu Kariithi; Jeremiah,Alexia GitongaNangechi, Muthoni Kiragu and Tarap Mwangangi.

Prayers and preparation meetings will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Wednesday, 30th and Thursday 31st at 5.30pm, and daily at the Mbwinjiru home. Funeral service will be at Ilbwinjeru Methodist Church on Saturday, 2nd September, 2017 at 11.00am, followed by burial at his home a few meters away.
