Mzee Pastor (Rtd) Stephenson Maturi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Mzee Pastor (Rtd) Stephenson Maturi of Daraja mbili, Kisii County which occurred on 8th October 2019.

Husband of late Mary Nyaboke Maturi. Brother of Late Henry Nyabuto among others. Father of Ann Moenga, Peninah Mageto, Loise Nyamisa, Pauline Mose, George Maturi, Rebecca Kaminda, Late Charles Maturi, Zipporah Mogaka, Grace Onguti, Clive Maturi, Henry Maturi and late Wesley Maturi. Father in law of late Charles Moenga, late Philip Mageto, Tom Mose, Elizabeth Maturi, Late Michael Kaminda, Nancy Maturi, Isaac Mogaka, Ben Onguti, Kerubo Maturi, Christine Maturi and Karen Maturi. Grandfather of Ken Moenga, Carol Mageto, Mofford Nyabuto, Christine Mose, Hellen Maturi, Brigid Munyoki,Dr. Marvin Maturi, Sidney Mogaka, Vanessa Onguti, Mary Maturi, Tiffany Maturi and Stephenson Maturi among others. Great grandfather and uncle of many.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are taking place daily at Peninah Mageto’s home in Karen, Mukoma road.

There will be a funeral service at Nairobi Central SDA church (Maxwell) opposite Integrity Centre, Milimani road on Thursday 17th October at 7:30am.

Burial service will take place on Friday 18th October, 2019 at Gusii stadium, Kisii County at 9am and thereafter the burial will take place at his Daraja mbili home.
