With humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the death of Mzee Peter Nyakwaka Asugo that occurred on 3rd June, 2023.

Son to the late Mzee Asugo Ojode and Mama Magdaline Ogedi of Sakwa Kapiyo.

Loving husband to the late Felister Akinyi Nyakwaka. Father to Dr. Dorothy Nyakwaka, the late Tonny Asugo Nyakwaka, Syprose Nyakwaka, Bernard Nyakwaka, Monica Nyakwaka, Alphonse Nyakwaka, the late John Mark, Kepha Okwiri, Sr. Mary Mildred.

Father-in-law to Josephine Asugo, Alice Onyango, Joyce Nyakwaka, Mercy Okwiri, Dr. Patrick Gudda, Dan Gor, and the late Meshack Obudho.

Grandfather to Jack, Jose, Kevin, Effie, Valerie, Daisy, Jill, Kate, Candy, Shem, Gillian, Evans, Leornard, Monny, Peter junior, Bela, and Amor. Great grandfather to Luka and Lamar.

In-law to the late Mzee Jacktone Obudho and Margaret Obudho, the late Mzee Barack Magicho and Mama Elsa Magicho, the late Mzee Adoma, Mama Caren Adoma, the late Mzee Gor and Mama Heilen Gor, the late Mzee Gudda, Mama Mary Gudda, Peter and Mama Caren Orwa.

Son-in-law to the late Sospeter and Mama Dolphine Sudhe of Asembo Kalumbe.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on Thursday, 15th June, 2023 for a Requiem Mass at Obama Catholic Church. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, 16th June, 2023 from 10.00am thereafter internment at his family home in Awendo Sub-County.
