With deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Mzee Peter Nyang’au Ong’uti which occurred on 04/07/2019.

Son of the late Ong’uti Nyagekong’o and Mosaisi Nyanchama. Loving husband of Christine Bosibori. Father of the late Benedict, Leonidah, Bathromew, Natalia Moraa (Nurse Nyamira), Ronald Atuti (Health Officer Keroka),Walter, Wilfred Moruri (Head Teacher, Narok), Dominic Nyauma (USA), Lukas, and Matthew (Nairobi). Brother of the late Ongiri, the late Nyamache, the late Nyamota, the late Monyoro, the late Yaro, Ogeto, Samwel Nyamota, Nyariki, Ogato and Ondomu (Kitale). Uncle of the late Okemwa, Ong’uti, Fred Manani (Kitale), Director Samwel Monyoro, Bosco, Omwega Monyeye, Victor Okindo, Nyachienga, Charles, Ibrahim, Benard Ong’uti, Omari, Isaac and others.

Brother-in-law of Asiago, Pacifica Ragira, Priscah, Rose, Norah, the late Peninah, the late Priscah and others. Grandfather of John Ong’uti, Priscah, Unnah, Jones, Morumbasi, Bruno, Fr Peter (Kitale), Timothy and others. Father-in-law of Ombogo, Morebu, the late Anna, Mondesta, Stella, Gladys, Linnet, Catherine, Tecla and Esther. Korera of Pacifica Nyamuro, Ondora, Victoria Angwenyi, the late Kieya, the late Maonga, Doricah Nyantika, Momanyi, Rebecca Ogata, Gikeni, the late Kivondo and others.

The fundraising will be held on 16th July, 2019 at his home and at Cardinal Otunga Hall, Nairobi.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 18/07/2019 and he will be laid to rest on Friday 19/07/2019 at his home Nyachogochogo, Mwanyagekongo Village, Nyamira.
