Mzee Richard Akuom Abang

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Richard Akuom Abang which occurred on 9 September; 2017.

Loving husband of Julia Adhiambo Akuom. Father of Caroline Ambala and Judith Schuppert (Germarny, Simeon Ochieng Akuom (KPA, Mombasa), Susan Onyango (Emmaloba Pri. Sch.), Merab Otieno, the late Heifer Mbong’o, Grace Oyengo. Paul Odour and Constance Oluoch. Grand-father of 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Father-in-law of Jacob Ambala, Morris Otieno, Thomas Schuppert, Amos Onyango, Mary Atieno Ochieng, the late Charles Oyengo, Hachim Mbong’o, Martin Oluoch, Peninah Juma Akuom, Rosemary Auma Odour and Elector Odour.

The cortege leaves Sagan Funeral Home on 15 September. 2017 for a requiem Service at St Mathew’s ACK Church, Barsauri Yala at 12:30 p.m. The burial will be on 16 September, 2017 at his home at Barsauri Village, Yala.

Being away from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord. .
