It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mzee Samwel Kiunga M’mutungi of Mulathankari, which occurred on 27th May, 2023.

Husband to Evangeline Karuthu Kiunga.

Son to the late Mr and Mrs M’njogu. Son-in-law to the late Mr and Mrs Charles M’Miriti.

Father to David Kamathi Catherine Buantai, Martin Gitonga, Duncan Mugambi, Agnes Nkatha, Alison Ntinyari and Beth Mutungi.

Brother to the late M’Muthuuri (Kameru), the late Sarah Mbwiria, the late Gakuene M’Ikwiga. He was an uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home – Mwendantu, on 8th June, 2023 for funeral service and burial ceremony to be held at his home in Bugui village, Mulathankari Location, Meru County.

Dad we loved you, but God loves you more.
