It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Solomon Kiptenai Saina (Kapcheptoum) of Cheptiret, Uasin Gishu County.

Son of the late Kipsaina Kotut, the late Tapletgoi, the late Tapnyaban and the late Tamutialei.
Brother of the late Kirwa, Joseph Saina, Emily Chebor and the late Christine Chepkoech.

Husband of Mary Cheboskwony Saina.

Father of Roseline Jepketer (USA), Clementine Jelimo, Joseph Tenai, Paul Barno,Thomas Tenai, the late Sally Jemurgor, Jonah Tenai, the late Elijah Tenai, Phillip Tenai (Sosiani Secondary), Recho Tenai (MTRH), Lily Tenai (MTRH), Hon. Gilbert Tenai, the late Kennedy Tenai, Prisca Tenai (MTRH) and the late Jebitok.

Father-in-law of Salina Tenai, Julia Barno, Josephine Tenai, Roseline Tenai (KCC Kitale), Lydia Tenai, Ziporah Tenai (MTRH) and Caroline Tenai (Moi University). Grandfather and great grandfather to many.

There will be fund raiser today.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 28th April 2023 at 10.00am for a memorial service and overnight vigil at his home in Cheptiret, Uasin Gishu County. Burial shall be on Saturday, 29th April 2023 at the same place.
