Mzee Stephen Kabiru Gathitu

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Stephen Kabiru Gathitu of Kaharo Village, Gitaku, Kirinyaga County who peacefully rested on Thursday, 19th July, 2018.

Son of the late Gathitu Mwangi and late Wamutira. Son-in-law of the late Githae and late Wamuchuwe. Beloved husband of Edith Wangari. Father of Dr. Githae, Wangeci, Kinyua, Kibara, the late Geoffrey, Wambui, Wanjiru and Wangithi. Father-in-law of Florence, Muriithi, Wambui, Benta, Jane and Job Karuma. Grandfather and great grandfather of several.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his home from 4.00pm daily and also at Sagas Hotel next to Blue Springs Hotel Thika super high way from 5.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital Funeral Home on Friday 27th July, 2018 at 9.00 am for a funeral service at ACK St. Barnabas Kaharo church at 1.00am and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home.
