After a long fulfilling life, our patriarch peacefully transitioned to glory on Wednesday, 15th May 2019.

Mzee Tobiko Ole Paloshe was a loving husband to Maria Siyiaito and the late Marisa Tobiko. A doting father to Ann Matinkoe, Sereya Shelel, Keriako, Agnes Risa, Peris Pesi, Emily Teteyio, Nancy Wuantai, Sammy, Richard, Oidamae, Nais, Tanet, Sinkiyian and the late Ranger. Father-in-law to the late Matinkoe Mula, James Shelel, Jane Komen, Moita Risa, Kishanto Suuji, Joseph Teteyio, Ronald Wuantai, Carol Kimakon, Betty Mutua, Nina Lepilal, Nixon Nganga, Moetei Kisoso and James Katema,

Papa was blessed with 49 grandchildren; Naisenya, Maato, Tina, Mintina, Isaac Tobiko, Hosea, Tukai, Kisianan, Naisoi, the late Tumuti, Willie, Michael Tobiko, Lemayian, Lekishon, Kotoke, Reyian, Lucky, Daitan, Tevyn, Messon, Nekishon, Nareyio, Malik, Saitore, Komeyian, Yvanna Marisa, Dephany, Gideon Paloshe, Kevin, Leila, Karen, Deryck Paloshe, Susan, Marisa wa Kaka, Siyiankoi, Nashipae, Bryan, Marisa wa Richie, Kenny, Metian, Roymen, Marisa wa Toby, Marisa Thandiwe, Lila, Timayio, Reson, Merit, Amana and Marisa Malemba.

Papa was blessed with 18 great-grandchildren; Siyiaito, Sally, Sanchiro, Saningo, Marseli, Soila, Keriako, Naimoe, Caleb Oidamae, Saitet, Sinkiyian, Metian, Evans Oidamae, Nashipae, Letipat, Roy, Namayiana and Teyian.

Meetings to prepare the ultimate celebration of Papa’s life are taking place in Nairobi (Charter Hall, City Hall from 5:30pm, Monday to Friday), his Mashuuru home, Kitengela (at Esidai, 034 and Kasoito) and Ilpolosat, Kajiado County.

There will be a thanks-giving service at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi on Monday, 27th May 2019 at 2.00pm.

Papa will be laid to rest on Wednesday, 29th May, 2019 at his Napientolu Farm, Mashuuru, Kajiado County.
