It is with deep sadness and acceptance of the Lord’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of Naomi Chebwogen Mutai Cheboryot, which occurred on the 13th December 2023.

Loving wife to James Cheboryot. A doting mother to Tamara Cheboryot and Eden Cheboryot.

Beloved 3rd born daughter to the late Rev. David and Mrs.Alice Mutai. Sister to Enock, Deborah, Cheruiyot Mutai and other adopted siblings.

Daughter-in-law to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sitienei. Sister-in-law to John & Mercy, Jacob & Faith, Abraham &Winnie, Joan & Paul, Martina & Jackson, Brian, Jessica, and Sharon. She was an aunt to many.

Daily meetings are taking place at their home in Kapseret, St. Georges as from 3.00pm.

A funds-drive is slated for Tuesday, 19th December, 2023 at their home in Kapseret St. George’s.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Morgue on Friday 22 December 2023 for an overnight vigil at their home in Kapseret. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, 23rd December 2023, at St. Georges Catholic Chaplaincy. Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at her home.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 —”He has set the right time for everything. He has given us a desire to know the future, but never gives us the satisfaction of fully understanding what he does.”

    I’m so sorry to learn of the demise of Naomi. I knew her from Stanbic bank. Always warm and welcoming. May her husband, children and family members find fortitude to bear the untimely loss. Rest well Naomi Mutai
