We regret to announce the death of Naomi Nyaboke Obaga which occurred at Kenyatta National Hospital on 19th April 2021 after a long illness bravely borne.
Daughter of the late Obaga Onkoba and Esther Kerubo Obaga of Bwonkoba village, Chibwobi Sub-location; Kisii County. Sister of Machogu, Ntabo, Bonareri, the late Gesicho, the late David, Grace, justice Elijah Obaga, Moraa, Nyagaka, Alfred, Lucy, Mary, Joel, Samuel, Patroba, the late Bonuke, the late Priscah, Peter, the late Tabitha, Pauline, Yobesh, the late Joyce, Kemunto, the late Machogu, Moraa, Cot. (Rtd.) Obaga, Moruri and Charles.
Cousin of late Peterson, Robert, Lucy, Cecilia, Nyabonyi, Stephen, Henry, Pero, the Asanyos, Nyakerambas, Ndeges, Ondimus. Niece of Bosire, Meraba, Nchoro and Bagwasi. Aunt of Stellah, Hezron, Ruth, Linnet, Carol, James, Esther, David, Kevin, Obed, Samuel, Isaac, Sarah, Joyce and Priscah among others. Sister-in-law of Artnah,Alice, Rispah, Evelyne, Callen, Hellen, Asenath, Esther, Rose, Elizabeth and Rebecca.
The cortege shall leave KNH on Friday 23rd April, 2021, for burial on the same day at her parents’ home at Gesusu.
May Jehovah the God of all comfort be with the Obaga family in this hard time. Death is not His will as many say. On the contrary, He promises to resurrect our loved ones and get rid of death forever. (2 Cor. 1:3,4; Heb. 2:11; John 5:28,29; Rev. 21:3,4)
Today we celebrate 40 years since we lost Sokoro even as you departed to be with him we still remember you & Bhaba. Till we meet again Auntie.
