Naomi Wangari Kamanga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dear mother Naomi Wangari Kamanga of Gituru/Kiganjo village, Kandara Sub-county, Murang’a County on 19th September, 2022.

Beloved wife to the late James Kamanga Kiihurwa. Sister to the late Virginia Wanjiku Gachina, the late Jane Wanjiru Kamau, the late Nyambura and Joseph Wamburu. Daughter of the late Njoroge Wamburu and the late Wairimu (Nyagichuhi).

Mother to Judy Wairimu Kibuga, Samuel Njoroge, Stephen Mwangi Kamanga, Mary Muthoni Githinji and the late Jane Wanjiru. Mother-in-law to Dr. Geoffrey Kibuga, Nancy Waithira, Edith Wambui and Edward Githinji.

Grandmother to Naomi Wangari Njoroge, Julia Kibuga, Chege Kibuga, Gilbert Kamanga Kibuga, Patience Mwangi,Angel Mwangi, Shirleen Mwangi, Joan Githinji, Henry Mwangi Githinji and Christine Githinji. Great-grandmother to Andrew Kibuga and Derrick.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at her home and at her son’s home in Ngoingwa, Thika from 6.30pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati on Saturday 24th September, 2022 at 8.00am for funeral service at Gituru Primary School grounds. Thereafter interment at Kiganjo village, Kandara Sub-county, Murang’a County.
