It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Nazalena Wangu Thanju.

Wife of the late Paskwale Thanju. Mother of Michael Ngunjiri, Priscillah Wanjiku, Bibian Mumbi, Agnes Kirigo, Susan Wairimu, Teresiah Mwarania, Juliet Wanjiru (JOWABU LTD), John Gichuhi (Delmonte LTD), Ezekiel Magothe (NUCLEAR) and Joseph Ndirangu (WESTBUILD LTD). Sister of Susan Wairimu Muriuki, Hannah Wanjiru Gichuhi, Peter Munyiri and the late Joseph Ndirangu. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at Thika Marafiki Hotel opposite Gatitu petrol station on today Friday and tomorrow Saturday from 6:00pm and at her home Ngandu Village daily.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital mortuary on Wednesday 29th May 2019 at 8:00am for a funeral service and burial at her home, Ngandu Village, Mathira, Karatina, Nyeri County from 12 noon.
