Remembering Dad

1937 – 18th January 2010

10 years ago you went to occupy the house you had been preparing while on earth to be with your Father in heaven.

Today you are remembered by your loving wife, Dada Consolata Awino, your brother Charles, your children Jenipher, Edward, Emily, Milton, Evelyn, Pauline, Philip and their families which have grown, your extended family and Co-workers in the ministry of Christ.

It has not been easy without your physical presence, but through the pain of missing you, we have each discovered strengths we did not know we had. Strengths that could only have been discovered through self reflection in your remembrance, your humble demeanor, humour, laughter, adherence to Christian values in all situations, and unconditional love for the whole family. This is what you taught us your children. Your love has continued to bind us together.

We continue to love and work with each other and learned to take care of your dear wife, our precious mother, Nyar Obis. We have learned to encourage and support each other in all situations. Dad, our family is still united as you always taught us through Psalms 133:1.Thank you for your love and sacrifice for us. We thank God for giving you to us. We know you watch over each one of us and are proud of who we have become. We bless the Lord because our separation with you is only temporary and we shall all soon meet again as our Lord and Savior Jesus promised, and we believe Him. God be with you our loving Dad, Amen.

Psalms 133:1….behold how good and how pleasant it is when brothers live in harmony.
