Kenya Civil Aviation Authority regrets to announce the demise of Mr. Nelson Patrick Mutea Thuranira which occurred on Wednesday, 31st August, 2022 at the Mater Hospital Nairobi, after a long illness bravely borne. Until his demise, he was a Senior Administration Officer based at the Headquarters, JKIA – Nairobi.

Beloved husband to Josephine Kanyua Mutea and Fraciah Wambui Mutea of Safaricom Ltd-Nairobi. Doting father to Antony Kimathi Mutea, Brenda Wamunyu, Brenda Karimi & Tehillah Kajuju.

Son to the late Paul M’ Thuranira M’Murithi & Mama Isabella Nchama Thuranira of Mbuthune Village, Abothuguchi West, lmenti Central, Meru County. Brother to Margret Mwongera, Gacheri Mwiti, Mary Muthamia, Dorcas Kinoti, the late Joyce Mwirigi and Alfred Kirimi Thuranira.

Son-in-law to Onesmus Thabuku & Lizzie Thabuku of Kiharu-Muranga County. Brother-in-law to Augustine Mwongera, the late Isaiah Mwiti, Isaac Muthamia, Stanley Kinoti, the late Mwirigi Kiugu, the late Susan Muthoni, Arthur Komu, Eliud Kimani, Miriam Njeri & Justus Kamau.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monaliza Funeral Home Nairobi, on Saturday, 10th September, 2022 at 6.30am. Funeral and burial service will be held on the same day at his family home in Mbuthune Village, Katheri, Meru County starting from 11.30am.
