Nerea Anyango Odhiambo

Nerea Anyango Odhiambo passed away peacefully on the 21st of April, 2021, at Oasis Specialist Hospital in Kisii County.

Daughter of the late Pastor Daniel and the late Mama Greta Odula. Loving sister of the late Denis Odula, the late Joseph Odula, Caleb Odula, the late Caroline Chepsiror, the late Rachel Odula, Dorothy Gai and Elizabeth Odula. Wife of the late Javan Odhiambo Dawa. Daughter-in-law of the late Meshack Dawa and Mama Janet Atieno Dawa.

Loving mother of David Ochieng Dawn, Martin Dawn, Raphael Indah Dawa, Meshack Omollo Dawa jr., Janet Atieno Ondiek, Joan Dawa Okumu and Collins Dawa. A caring sister-in-law of the late Esther Okal, the late Peter Otiangla Dawa, Shellemiah Oluoch Dawa, the late Sheila Were Agar, the late Beatrice Awuor, Grace Akinyi Ochieng and Samuel Okoth Dawa.

Mother-in-law of Selina Dawa, the late Merenza Odhiambo, Layle Stapleton Dawa, Rev. Willis Ondiek, Edson Okumu Tom and Winter Nafula. From these unions she had 15 grandchildren, Dante, Emily, Nereah, Lorraine, Wendy, Janet, Javan, Delight, Holli, Kenya, Bill Javan, Tyler, Jaz Nereah, Liam and Baby Arvin Huxley. She is survived by 7 great-grandchildren, Drelyn, Peyton, Kariyanna, Ryvayah, Hazel, India and Amyla.

The funeral service and burial will be held on the 2nd of May, in her home in Kaniagambo, Migori County.
