Nereah Wesema Wandere

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Nereah Wesema Wandere following her death at St. Luke’s Hospital, Eldoret on 1/8/2018.

Daughter of the late Samson Aswani and the late Rosebella Amateshe. Wife of the late Micah Saulo Wandere. Mother of George Wandere (Retired Principal), James Wandere (Retired Headteacher), Dr. Donald Wandere (Moi University), Dr. Judith Khazenzi (Eldoret University), Rosemary Musaba, Margaret Omoto (Principal, Mulwanda) and Saulo Omukofu. Mother in law of Anne Wandere, Mary Obanda (Teacher), Hazel Wandere (Principal Magistrate, Kakamega), Architect Simon Khazenzi, Job Musaba, Wycliffe Omoto (SCDE, Embu North) and Jane Omukofu (Teacher). Sister of the late Malika, Ayuma, Atenya and Indetie. Sister in law of the late Henry Obanda, the late Prof. Gideon Were, the late Hanningtone Oluchin and the late Obanda Ashindu. Grandmother of Sylvia, Alice, Gideon, Cynthia, Faith, Micah. Samson among others.

The cortege leaves MTRH mortuary on Thursday, 9/8/2018 for a requiem mass at the ACK St. Matthews Parish Church, Robert’s, and onwards to her home in Soy, Lumino, kwa Robert area.

Burial will take place on Saturday, 11th, August 2018 at her farm in Soy.
