It is with deep sorrow that we announce the tragic death of Ng’wono Nyagwara Otieno of Kisumu National Polytechnic, son of Fanuel Otieno Anyul of Nakuru Heart Centre Hospital (also formerly of Pyrethrum Directorate) and Elizabeth Atieno of Langalanga Sub-County Hospital, which occurred on the 19th of October, 2025.
He was a brother of Mitch Anyul of Alpha-HB Consultancy, Nairobi, Hawi Arodi of AFricare Health Ltd, Nairobi, Ann Chier of RBA, Emmanuel Geno of Laikipia University, Singoh Olwendi of Laikipia University and Ler K’otieno of Mbita High School.
He was a cousin of Gueth Anyul, Tina Arodi, Bruce Okeyo, Donald Odongo (Reru Sec. School), and others.
Ngwono was a nephew of Eunice Juma, the late John Okeyo, and Henry Anyul, Jane Okeyo, Jane Ogalo, and Evaline Ogalo.
He was a grandson of the late Joseph Anyul Olwendi and the – late Clementina Arodi Anyul of Kano Kabonyo Kanyagwal, the late Stanislaus Nyagwara, and Mama Perez Nyagwara of Kanyada Kothidha, Homabay.
The cortege leaves Nakuru on Wednesday, 29th October, for burial at Kabonyo Kanyagwal, Kawino North, Kola sub-location, Kowiti village, Komuga clan on Thursday, 30th October. The funeral service will be conducted by the Africa Evangelical Presbyterian Church (AEPC).
