Nicholas Ochieng Onyony

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our great hero Mt Nicholas Ochieng Onyony, which occurred on 17th July, 2018. He hails from Homabay County, Rangwe Sub-county, Kanyanjwa Village.

Mr. Nicholas Ochieng is the first born son of the late Mzee Peter Onyony and late Marna Catherine Ornbok. His siblings; the late Consolata Ojun’ga, the late Rose Outa, Augustine Otuoma, the late Chrisantus Oyoo, the late Julius Rariwi and Mary Onyony. Loving husband of Grace Akinyi Ochieng’. Loving father of Cyprian Onyony Ochieng of Onyony and Co. Advocates (Nairobi), Polycarp Obado Ochieng, Pamela Anyango Ochieng, Justine Ochieng Midega (KIRDI), Boniface Omondi Ochieng (Switzerland), Kenneth Omundo Ochieng and Salome Ochieng Nielsen (Denmark). Father-in-law of Candy Polo Onyony, Lamech Otieno, Prof Charles Midega (ICIPE), Tina Ochieng (Switzerland), Cliff Nielsen (Denmark) and Audrey Omundo Ochieng. Grandfather of Shanice, Velma, Nicholas Jnr, Eugene, Michael, Paula, Sierra, Tara, Charles Jnr, Nicholas Jnr, Malia and Nahla.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Mortuary (Kisumu) for a Requiem Most at 9.00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Millimani in Kisumu on 2nd August 2018.

The cortege will leave for St. Teresa Asumbi Catholic Church (Homabay, County) for requiem mass at 2.00pm thereafter.

Our father will be moved home to Gem West, Rangwe Division, Kanyanjwa Sub-location, Randung’ Village, where a prayer service will be held.

Burial will be on 3rd August 2018. Burial ceremony begins at 10.00am. All guests should be seated by then.
