Nicholas Wachira Kariithi
It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Nicholas Wachira Kariithi, Pastor with Glorious Restoration Christian Church in Ruiru, following a short illness, bravely borne.
The beloved Husband of the late Pastor Esther Wanjiku Wachira. Father of Kethi Wangeci Wachira, Wairimu and Paul Obara, Njoki and Roy Michoma, and Njeri Wachira. Grandfather of Akinyi,Wanjiku, Gakina, Makena, and Getuno. Son of the late Hon. Geoffrey Kariithi and the late Mary Wangeci Kariithi. Son-in-law of John Karoba Iroha and the late Mary Wairimu Karoba.
Brother of George Karekia, Margaret Njoki, the late Jane Muchoni, Elizabeth Wambere, Ngari Kariithi, and Kibuga Kariithi. Brother-in-law of James Kiarie, Humphrey Mwangi, Perpetua Njeri, Peter Mburu, Stephen Kamau, Joseph Gachonjo, and Anne Wariara.A valued Uncle, mentor and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers at the Kariithi Family home at Karunguru Estate on Kenyatta Road from 3:00pm on Saturday the 18th, Sunday the 19th, and 5:00pm on Monday the 20th of September.
The funeral service and burial will take place on Thursday, the 23rd of September, 2021 in Kiburi Farm, Kimunye Village, Kirinyaga County, from 11:00am.
Philippians 1: 20-21 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have complete boldness so that now, as always, Christ will be exalted in my body whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
A great man of God, a consistent preacher of the Kingdom of God has passed on. He enters the abode of the saints pending the revealing of the sons of God. Rest in Peace our beloved brother.
