Nunzia Gaturia Marete

1959 – 2023

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Nunzia Gaturia Marete, which occurred on 4th April, 2023 after a short illness.

Daughter to the late M’Laikuru M’Igweta and the late Jacinta Chiomwaambi.

Daughter-in-law to M’Mukiira and Ciobaiburi.

Loving wife to the late Julius Marete. A gem of a mother to Kagwiria & Njogu, Mwonokia & Kendi, Kananu & Kimathi, Muthomi & Njeri And Jennifer Kangai.

Grandmother to Naomi, Emmanuel, Julius, MaryAnn, Job, JanePaula, Judith and Muriithi.

Sister to Maingi, Anjela, Silio, Pierra, the late Silas, Caroline, Consolata and Mbaabu. Sister-in-law to many. Special aunt, friend to many.

She will be laid to rest on 15th April, 2023 at 10.00am at the family’s home in Athwana Mwanika, Tigania West, Meru.

2nd Timothy 4:7  “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
