It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paostina Mong’ina Getanda of Masimba Village Nyaribari Masaba, which occurred on 16/02/2023 at PGH Nakuru Annex.
Wife of the late Rev Naftali Getanda of Riabigutu PAG Church. Sister-in-law to the late Moibi, the late Mil Nyabinge, the late Mose Getanda and the late Hellen.
Sister to the late Nyangau, Bonareri, the late Osieino, Omwenga, Okemwa, the late Bosire, the late Ornboga Josephine, Mose, Mageto, among others.
Mother of the late Joel Getanda, Eng. Samuel Getanda, Mwalimu Ezekiel Getanda, Zachariah Getanda (Egeciture), Barnabas Getanda, Rebecca Getanda, Evans Getanda (Advocate Kakamega), the late Caren Orina, Philip Getanda, and Catherine Getanda. Mother-in-law to the late Mary, Jeliah, Abigail, Pamela, Jessica, Lilian, Esther, Gideon, Edwin and Richard.
Grandmother to over 40 including; Lameck, Kemunto, Damaris, Kevin, Milkahs, Wicks, Renson, Dan, Winnic, Faith, Brenda, Justin, Hanet, Wendy, Wayne,Angela, Mercy, Benjamin, Nanah,Tanya, among others. Great-grandmother to over 20 including, Anayah, Reese, Nicole, Reyna, Vivian, Stacy, among others.
Aunty to the late Kerage,Andrew, Onsandos, the late Nyaanga, Nyanchokas, Aram, Kemuma, among others. Korera to the late Nyabicha, the late Onchiri, the late Olando, Onguso, the late Musungu, the late Nyaberi, Mbako and Ntabo.
There will be a funds drive to cater for medical and funeral expenses on Tuesday 28/02/2023 at Eng. Getanda’s residence in London Estate – Nakuru at 6.00pm and at her home in Masimba Kisii County.
The cortege will leave Nakuru War Memorial Mortuary – Nakuru on Thursday 02/03/2023 and the funeral will be held on Friday 03/03/2023 at her home in Masimba, Nyaribari Masaba Kisii County.
